Tried this place for the first time today… not great. I only gave 2 stars because the pita’s were pretty good, soft and chewy. As for the rest of the food, the hummus was very bland, no flavor, just tasted like blended chickpeas. The chicken meat in the chicken gyro was very dry and there was not much else in it to complement the chicken or balance out the dryness. As someone who loves Greek food, this spot was very underwhelming.

We spent 10 days in Tuckahoe because we wanted to explore NYC. The fiestbday we found this restaurant and was amazing! Excellent option for tourists, with healthy and delicious greek food! We ordered twiced. Good place!

**Raw Chicken in My Gyro I recently tried a gyro from Meat the Greek and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The chicken was completely raw in the center, which not only ruined the meal but also raised serious concerns about food safety. It’s unacceptable to serve raw chicken, as it poses serious health risks. Not sure how you can look at raw CHICKEN and still place it in a gyro. Ended up in Urgent Care pending results for any bacterial infection. I hope they take food safety more seriously in the future, as this is a major issue.

I just ordered today from Uber eats and the flavor is exceptional! One of the best Greek restaurants in the area. I got a lamb bowl with Greek fries, flavor and quality are 10/10. I paid for all $26 tax included.

It is our second time trying this and the beef/lamb gyro seems better than the chicken gyro (which we got last time), in my opinion. The bowls were great because you get to build your base, protein, vegetables, and dressings. Additionally, the burger patty was thick and cooked just right. It is a bit pricey but the food was tasty. 😊
